701/702 Auto Start Type
The 701/702 is an engine control module designed to control the engine through a keyswitch and front panel pushbuttons. The module is used to start and stop the engine and indicate fault conditions, automatically shutting down the engine and indicating the cause of the fault via LEDs, giving a true fault annunciation first. Additionally, autostart versions of the controller will respond to a remote switched input to begin the boot sequence. The 702 has an integral tamper-proof LCD hour meter to indicate total engine run time.
